SURVIVAL SUITS HTS
A Survival Suit / Helicopter Transportation Suit (HTS) is 100 % waterproof, because of the taped seams, the zipper which is waterproof, the closed seals at the neck and the wrists and most of all the waterproof fabric Gore-Tex/nomex of which the suit has been made.
Because of the breathability of the Gore-Tex it is very comfortable to wear.
- You will stay dry in the suit, therefore the chance on survival is much bigger, you will keep your body temperature.
- The suits have an outerlayer of ‘Nomex', which is fire retardant, a production or drilling platform is always a fire danger area.
