This one is also integrated into the LAP.
The PLB sends a signal to a Satellite or other Receivers. This way the rescuer can ascertain at which co-ordinates a drowning person or drowning group is situated.
This will speed up the rescue of the drowning persons.
The PLB activates as soon as it comes in contact with water.

The PLB's are also used on offshore locations by persons who are working on or out board.
We also sell the PLB's complete with harness.

Since the 1st of May 2008 we introduced the new Man Overboard Alarm Receiver. 1. The PLB is Approved by the Spanish “Ministerio de Fomento”.

INDRA PLB's are ATEX Approved, which is very important for drilling- and production platforms amongst others. ATEX Approval nr. II 3 G IIC T6.
The PLB has a 7,2 Voltage Lithium Battery which needs to be replaced every 3 years.
Working Temperature -20 to 55+ degrees Celcius.
Minimum reach = 1 Nautic Mile.
Is working on 121.5 MHz and GPS.
